Protected Registration Button
A customizable registration button with privacy notice that keeps the link to your external sign-up form hidden from bots.
Many practices, clubs and businesses use an external service for online registration, such as the form of their practice software or a booking portal. The link to that form is often personal and should not be harvested by bots or scanners.
The plugin stores the link only in your WordPress database. It never appears in the HTML, in JavaScript or in Ajax responses. Only after a click does the site issue a one-time ticket that is bound to the visitor’s session and valid for 60 seconds; only that ticket leads to the redirect. A honeypot, a minimum delay, an origin check and a limit per IP address keep simple bots out.
The button can float on every page, open a window with a privacy notice from a menu link, or sit on a dedicated registration page via shortcode. Label, icon, shape, style, colors and position are adjustable with a live preview. An optional consent checkbox and the name of the form provider can be shown as well.
